There are many annual festivals, but the biggest, and most colorful thing to do in Barbados is Crop Over. Visit the island from June to the beginning of August to experience this harvest festival. The finale, The Grand Kadooment, on the first Monday in August, follows a route a short cab trip from our apartments!

The nearby Garrison Savannah is the home of horse racing in Barbados, where you can watch, and bet on, a race! Learn about the island’s history at the Barbados Museum, which houses over 500,000 artifacts.
